Ronald Reagan emphasized America as the Shining City on the hill. A country that supports people that have come from every country on the globe. We have endured the worst of times when the lite has been dimmed. Today the world is watching America to see if we will be able to remain freedoms best hope.
America was built on faith in God, courage, imagination and determination. No matter what challenges America has faced, even during the darkest of times, the strong will of the American loving, God fearing patriots have fanned the flames of liberty and the lite of freedom shined bright and it will happen again. Freedom is a precious blessing and must be cherished and maintained as guaranteed by the Constitution and not let it be perverted by ones who want to cancel the 1st amendment and the 2nd amendment and basically change the greatest document that any country has had the privilege to live under. The Constitution is considered the “supreme law of the land and can not be surpassed.” As stated by Alexander Hamilton, ” No legislative act, therefore, contary to the Constitution, can be valid.”
America was meant to be where people are united and live under the rule of law with a moral and just believe that their rights and liberties are protected by the Constitution.
This is a time when we have to start learning what the founding fathers provided for us to keep the government from becoming oppressive. We have a Declaration of Independence wjich says, ” To alter or abolish any government that does not secure our unalienable rights, including life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” There is no difference between an unjust government and a thieve.
America works best when government gets out of the way and lets the people that turn the wheels of commerce and free market enterprise get moving. There is no limit to what can be accomplished for the benefit of the American society.
When government thinks it can take control and over tax and over regulate to level the playing field, that is when the poor and the middle class suffer. Those kind of things are what cause high prices, unemployment, and destroy the desire to create.
The government was established for six reasons, which are unity, domestic tranquility, the general welfare of the people and securing liberty for all. The intent for regulations was to prevent the society from collapsing and descending into lawlessness and chaos. But not to make regulation after regulation to infringe on the freedoms and rights of the American citizens.
Taxation was for the purpose to support the expenses of government, military programs, public safety, education, infrastructure, maintain and protect government land and for the general well being of society. Not to give hard working American tax dollars to foreign countries that don’t even like us, be used to subsidize corporations, private businesses, or endless social programs that keep people beholden to the government.
