The Second Amendment is not negotiable. The right to keep and bear arms is an inalienable right. It provides for a person to protect their families, their home, themselves and their property.
Law Abiding gun owners don’t want to shoot anyone; but they don’t want anyone shooting them either.
Baton Rouge LA. Nov. 20, 2020: three armed individuals forced their way into a home. The homeowner was able to get his gun and fire at the invaders. One died of his injuries the other two were booked and ended up in prison. All three had Pryor criminal records. What would have happen to that man and his family if he would have not been able to defend himself.
Seattle Wa. Jan. 31, 2021: a man went for a Sunday morning walk, which turned into a life threatening situation when out of no where he was jumped by a thug who started punching him in the head and chest. But during the beating he was able to pull his weapon and fire at the aggressor. The aggressor was found and treated for non-life threatening injuries and arrested. The victim would have most likely been beaten to death if he would have not been able to defend himself.
There are hundreds of these incidents every year but you won’t read about them in the national news because it gives a positive reason why it’s important to have a weapon for your own protection. Both these examples show that it doesn’t matter where you are. This is becoming more and more prevalent because in too many cases these lenient Judges just keep putting criminals back out on the streets instead of prison.
In the cities that are defunding and reducing the size of their police force, the life threatening situations are increasing at an alarming rate.
There are illegals coming in from all different countries who are criminals that were let out of prison to come here, Cartel members, MS-13, and even ISIS.
If you don’t own a gun this would be a good time to get one and learn how to use it.
If the politicians that want to take the guns away from the Law Abiding Citizens succeed, ( which incidentally have armed security to protect them) then the criminals will still have theirs. There are guns continually being smuggled into the country and end up in the hands of convicted felons. Destroying the 2nd Amendment there will be a boom in the black market gun business.
It would be nice if more people were scared of not owning a gun, rather than wanting to take the guns away from Law Abiding citizens, leaving everyone vulnerable for their safety.
If they take the 2nd Amendment there will be no freedom guaranteed by the Constitution because there will be no U.S. Constitution. It will be replaced with the U.N. charter.
